Unbelievable. Disrespectful. Ignorant. Senseless. Those are my thoughts on the downright insensitive act of young hackers from #Scriptkiddies who took responsibility for hacking onto the NBC News Twitter account September 9th and posting multiple news feeds surrounding an attack at Ground Zero. "Breaking News! Ground Zero has just been attacked. Flight 5736 has crashed into the site, suspected hijacking," read one of the posts and "Flight 4782 not responding, suspected hijacking," read another. This whole story really speaks to the complete ignorance of some "adults" and why not everyone has power in this world-because some that have it do not know what to do with it. To further that point, these juveniles took the power to post messages and news in an act of thievery, and never earned that right. And, after taking it, they choose to post about a possible terrorist attack at the 9/11 memorial site, designed to commemorate all the innocent people that lost their lives 10 years ago at Ground Zero. I can understand doing something silly or funny after proving you have the ability to hack an account, but what gain do you have from putting people into a false panic other than embarrassing yourself, your so called "group" and those family members that raised you through this ignorant and completely despicable act. Yet another reason why "you media" frustrates me, people use it to hurt rather than help.

I definitely agree with you, that was very disrespectful to everyone who died and suffered on that day, and to those who still suffer to this day. If you want to prove you can hack a site or a network, go ahead. But not at the expensive of one of the most tragic days in our nation’s history. There are certain levels a person can hit before crossing a line. They moment when they decided to hack into the site and started to come up with the story was the point that no one should cross. Total disrespect on our country!
